Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900) (English)
Description
When you as an organization start working with data and analytics, a lot of technology is involved. But how do you explain to the non-technical stakeholders in your organization what is going on, and which considerations are important?
In this one-day "Azure Data Fundamentals" training, students learn a solid foundation in the concepts of cloud data, databases, and cloud services within Microsoft Azure. We discuss the differences between relational data, non-relational data, big data and analytics. We also gain experience in setting up a database and executing queries. Students are introduced to the underlying platforms of databases up to Synapse and Azure Databricks. We also discuss Power BI, how it is structured and how everything can work together.
NB! This training is not offered in a regular open schedule, but in an open learning center . This means that you come to our location where you independently study, go through and practice the material under the supervision of a teacher with a great deal of expertise. The teacher is available during the day if you encounter problems, questions or challenges.
This training is aimed at students with little technical background, who want to have a solid foundation in one day to be able to participate in teams that build data & analytics platforms.
A second target group are Data Engineers who are making the step to the cloud.
After this day participants can:

Prerequisites to follow the Azure Data Fundamentals training
No prior knowledge is required for this training. However, it is important that the participants actually have something to do with data. This can be, for example, through collaboration with a data team, or through working in a data field yourself.
